The Lemon Diet In Check: What Is It Really Good For?
How much you lose depends on which lemon diet variant you choose. However, even if you take the classic fasting diet and lose a lot of weight, the yo-yo effect will most likely set in as soon as you normally eat again. And: You will primarily lose water this week, not fat.
Even the moderate variants of the lemon diet are not necessarily recommended. The acid can attack the stomach lining if you drink lemon juice, just like the teeth. And whether the lemon juice stimulates fat burning has not been scientifically confirmed.
Much Better Than Any Lemon Diet:
change your diet permanently. Eat a serving of vegetables with every meal, swap white flour products for whole grain foods and eat your fill of low-calorie foods. Fast food, ready-made foods and sweets are not prohibited, but you should only eat them rarely and choose small portions. With this concept, you will slowly but permanently lose weight. Especially if you also do sports regularly.
